Key Responsibilities As a Mental Health Clinician, your day-to-day tasks will include: Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to gather comprehensive information about clients’ substance abuse histories and overall mental health. Developing personalized treatment plans that not only address addiction but also the underlying mental health issues that contribute to substance abuse. Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique situation. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients. Providing education and support for clients' families, encouraging their involvement in the recovery process for a more impactful treatment experience. Maintaining accurate client records and treatment documentation, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work primarily with adults facing the challenges of substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in helping individuals from diverse backgrounds navigate their recovery journeys, offering support and guidance tailored to their specific circumstances. Qualifications Candidates must possess a valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). Additionally, a master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field is required. Preferred Experience Preference will be given to those with specialized training or experience in addiction counseling, particularly with evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment and co-occurring disorders. Strong therapeutic and counseling skills, along with the ability to effectively motivate and engage clients, are essential in this role. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and credentials.
