Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Structural Steel Welders/Fitters for projects located in the Orting, WA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $32-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Read and interpret structural steel drawings and blueprints
Perform layout and accurately measure materials
Cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components
Tack weld assemblies prior to final welding
Perform structural welding using Dual Shield (.052 and 1/16" wire)
Inspect work to ensure accuracy and quality
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Follow all company and OSHA safety standards
Requirements
Previous experience as a Structural Steel Welder/Fitter
Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and fabrication prints
Strong layout, measuring, and material preparation skills
Experience cutting, fitting, and assembling structural steel
Proficient with Dual Shield/FCAW welding using .052 and 1/16" wire
